Jia Ping-Lee

Jia-Ping is the founder of Tempatico, a place consultancy that develops strategy for urban and corporate places. She is also the Chairperson of Placemaking Malaysia (launched in 2021 under the auspices of Malaysian Institute of Planners), and is leading a team of placemakers to advocate and create better places to live, work and play. In 2020, she was elected to the board of Placemakingx, a global placemaking advocacy network based in New York. 

She is great at building partnerships and new businesses, facilitation and the creation of cultural and community programmes by joining dots within multiple networks and stakeholders. When she is not working, you can find her fighting for causes as Honorary Council Member of Badan Warisan Malaysia (Malaysian Heritage Trust) and as a member of the Rotary Club of Gombak.
